How to Wash Your Neoprene Mat Without Ruining It – Quick Guide
We know your mat isn’t just another accessory. Snacks, drinks, and game night excitement can leave their mark — even if our mats are waterproof and stain-resistant. So every once in a while, it deserves a proper clean. And doing it right makes all the difference.
Here’s a simple, safe guide to keep your neoprene mat in top shape:
Preferred Method: Hand Wash
If you want to be extra gentle with your mat, this is the best option.

1- Use cold or lukewarm water:
 Fill a basin or bathtub with water (max 30 °C / 86 °F).

2- Add mild detergent:
Just a small amount of bleach-free liquid soap is enough.

3- Gently clean the surface:
Use a soft cloth or sponge to wipe the mat in circular motions. Don’t scrub hard.

4- Rinse well:
Make sure there’s no soap left before drying.

5- Let it air dry completely:
Lay the mat flat on a clean surface and avoid direct sunlight or heaters.

Yes, You Can Use the Washing Machine Too
Only do this if you're short on time or dealing with a very dirty mat — and follow these rules:

1- Roll it up, don’t fold:
Place it gently in the machine to avoid damage.

2- Mild detergent, no bleach:
Use 80 to 100 ml of liquid detergent — that’s all you need.

3- Short cycle, cold water:
 Set the machine to 15 minutes, 600 rpm, cold wash (max 30 °C / 86 °F).

4- Air dry only:
Never use a dryer. Just lay it flat and give it time to dry naturally.

Your mat will look clean, vibrant, and ready to play again.
This method has been tested with our exclusive neoprene mats. Keeping it clean is not just about appearance — it improves your game experience.
