Standard MTG playmat size
The standard Magic: The Gathering playmat measures 61 × 35 cm (24 × 14 in): enough room for one player's cards, deck and discard pile. Our designer starts at this size, and you can change it to any width and height you need, up to 155 cm wide.

How to prepare your artwork
- Resolution: 150 dpi at the final size is optimal for a sharp print. For prototypes or publisher work, send a higher-resolution file.
- Proportions: use an image with the same proportions as your mat, so nothing important is cropped.
- Safe area: keep faces and text a little away from the edges, where the stitching goes.
- Preview before you order: the designer shows a print-quality check and an As printed magnifier.
Playmats for Commander and two-player games
For Commander, many players prefer a little more room for the command zone, tokens and a life counter: 71 × 35 cm (28 × 14 in) works well. For two players sharing one mat, choose 61 × 71 cm (24 × 28 in) or set your own size.
