Layers: images and text

Only a border is added around your artwork. Your image keeps its proportions: it's never stretched or cropped.

Colours
Change the colour of each part of the design, and give it an outline or a shadow if you like. What you see is what gets printed.
Framing
Drag the image on the mat to move it. Scroll or pinch to zoom.
The stitched edge covers 8 mm: keep anything important inside the dashed line, which is only a guide and is not printed. “Add seam margin” adds a 10 mm border on every side (8 mm under the stitching + 2 mm that show): the mat grows, or your artwork is made a little smaller, as you choose.

Judge the quality in the As printed magnifier
The dpi figure is only a guide: even if it looks low, your mat can look great. The As printed magnifier is the closest preview to the mat you'll receive at home. To see it as accurately as possible:- View it on a computer screen, in full screen.
- Recommended: calibrate the real size once on this device with a card or a coin, so the magnifier matches what you'll receive.
The circle shows your design as it will look printed, at real size. Move over the mat to check any area; drag its corner to enlarge it.
At real size, the magnifier shows your mat as it looks from the distance you are from your screen: about 60 cm on a computer (like sitting at the table) and about 30 cm on a phone (closer than when playing).

Which measurement do you have?
The ends are two half circles and C runs between their centres, from where one curve ends to where the other begins, so A = B + C. Type the two measurements you have and we work out the third.
This is your artwork size. The seam margin is added around it.

Over 115 cm on the shorter side: to keep shipping costs down, your mat ships folded in a protective bag. Prefer it rolled in a tube? You can add it in the Review step (+$68.56 per order).
Table with an insert? Measure the inside of the insert. We cut 0.5 mm (0.02 in) under the size you enter so the mat fits.

Stitched edges add durability and stop the neoprene from fraying.
Clean cut: your mat is sent without the stitched edge. The neoprene edge is left as cut.
Thickness
3 mm is thicker and more cushioned. It adds 10% to the price.

How should we ship it?
Your mat will ship folded. It is over 115 cm on the shorter side, so by default we send it folded in a protective bag. To ship it rolled it needs a tube over 120 cm long, and carriers charge an oversize surcharge for parcels that long: that is the +$68.56 for the rolled option, once per order however many mats.
Artwork review
Printed exactly as you edited it, with no human check. The product guarantee still applies; the image quality is your choice.
We want you to be happy with your order, so we recommend:
- Checking it in full screen on a computer, with the As printed magnifier (strongly recommended)
- Keeping in mind that colours vary slightly between screens
A person checks resolution, colours and framing and contacts you if anything looks off.

Calibrate real size
Hold a trading card, a plastic card (ID or bank card) or a coin flat against the screen and move the slider until the outline matches its edges. We'll remember it on this device, so the As printed magnifier shows your mat at its exact size. A card is more precise than a coin.

Artwork and print quality
150 dpi at the final print size is optimal for a sharp custom playmat. For publisher work, prototypes and print tests, we recommend higher-resolution files. The designer shows a print-quality check and an As printed magnifier so you can see the result before ordering. If you choose Review by our team, a person checks resolution, colours and framing and contacts you if anything looks off.
Shapes and gaming tables

Shipping: rolled or folded?
Only the shorter side counts. If the shorter side of your mat is 115 cm (45.3 in) or less, it ships rolled in a cardboard tube you can keep for storage, however long the other side is.

Only when both sides are over 115 cm does the mat ship folded in a protective carry bag. Prefer it rolled? Choose Rolled in the Review step of the designer; an oversize shipping surcharge applies.

How long does it take?
It depends on the time of year, but we usually ship within 5 business days of your order. The designer also shows a notice with the estimated delivery date to your home.
Can I order a custom MTG or Pokémon playmat?
Yes. Upload your own artwork or design and set the standard 61 × 35 cm (24 × 14 in) size, or any other size you need. Please only upload images you own or have permission to print.
Can I return a custom playmat?
Custom mats are made to order, so they can only be returned if there is a defect or an error on our part.
Can I order more than one?
Yes. For clubs, events or publishers, contact us for volume pricing.
