If you know of the relatively obscure game Lifeboat, you know that aside from the cards, much is left to the imagination to play the game. There isn't a whole lot in the box, so to make the experience more immersive, my wife and I went looking for accessories (which, due to its obscurity, are hard to find). If you're looking for a game mat, look no further. This mat is VERY high quality and will last forever. With an incredible amount of artistic detail and it's size able to accommodate all the expansions, this adds the immersivity we were looking for, and even increases the feeling of desperation as the players start getting thrown overboard, fight, and die off. Shipping is pricey and took just under two weeks, but it is travelling a great distance. Will be purchasing this mat whenever I buy the game as a gift for friends.
