Overall I like this mat and I use it in my games over the default revised edition player board. I would recommend it.

I do find the colours are a bit dark and some of the icons are not clear (i.e. what I presume is the icon for logs kind of looks like an apple?). The overall size of the mat is a bit too large to fit in flat in the box, but it wraps around space along the edges fine and still comes out to hold a flat shape during play.

Also I was a bit confused by the presence of areas to place animals around the side of the board, as that is not a mechanic I'm aware of in Agricola. I ended up putting my player fencing in those 3 spots and that worked out well.

I love having a clear space to place resources, something that is missing from the revised edition player board.
